At X & X, we prefer not to consider watches investments, as ultimately they are luxury products that are made to be worn and enjoyed. However, it is undeniable that the luxury watch market has performed well and, given that the manufacturers continually increase their prices, pre-owned can represent great value as well as choice.

If you have a piece you think we would be interested in, fill out the form on our ‘Selling your watch with us’ page, including pictures so we can more accurately assess the watch’s condition. The more you can tell us about it, the better.

Every watch we buy from the public will be subject to the same authenticity and fraud checks as every other piece of stock we source from other channels.

We may not be able to buy every watch that is submitted to us, but if for any reason we choose not to buy your watch, we will always endeavour to give you some advice on how you can sell it yourself and get the best price possible.

All watches sold by X & X Watches are classified as pre-owned. Although some will be completely as new and never worn, they have originally been sold by a manufacturer Authorised Distributor.

Purchasing a pre-owned watch is often the sensible choice. Your dream piece could well be within closer reach than you think, as any depreciation may have already occurred from when the watch was purchased brand new.

We have chosen to concentrate our business on ‘modern’ watches and typically will only sell watches that are still within the manufacturer’s original warranty. The length of these warranties varies from brand to brand, but we believe that this always adds value to a watch. The only exception to selling a watch within official manufacturer warranty is if the watch comes with service documentation from a manufacturer service centre, but this will always be declared.

All of the watches we offer for sale are procured from trusted sources; including other trusted dealers. Furthermore, all watches are supplied with a certificate from the Watch Register, to guarantee they are not registered as lost or stolen.

We ship our watches using Royal Mail Special Delivery, within 48 hours of cleared funds received. Royal Mail Special Delivery delivers on weekdays and Saturdays. Therefore, a watch purchased on the weekend will arrive on a Tuesday or later. We may on occasion use a different service to ship watches.

Currently, we only sell and ship watches within the UK. As per our T&C's, we reserve the right to refuse any order placed from outside the UK, or one which requires shipping outside the UK.

We are happy to accept payment via credit and debit card, using the checkout and payment functionality through our website.

We are also happy to accept payment by bank transfer.
